Janette Verrijzer has a master in slavistics and a PhD in cultural history. She joined the Dutch foreign service in 2007 and has since worked in in 8 countries across three continents. She has worked in various roles, including in in the fields of economy, commerce and private sector development. Janette came to Bucharest in 2022 with her family, with whom she loves to make trips across Romania. She rides her bike to work. (A bicycle, not a motorbike, because she is Dutch, after all)
